I made a post earlier about this wind-turbine design. I believe small-scale wind energy will become more prevalent in the future. Designs like this will be paramount.

Interesting New Wind Turbine Tech

It floats up to a 1000ft in the air and transmits it's power back down to the ground via it's grounding cable. Can be retracted and redeployed elsewhere with minimal fuss. Check it out here.
